This enchanting South Carolina “Plan B” 2020 Wedding day may have turned out better than “Plan A”. When the pandemic made the original plan of 350 guests not a reality, we took a pivot, reduced the guest count by 75% and embraced the outdoors even in the heat of August in South Carolina.

Highlights

Moving a reception outdoors in the midst of a Southern Summer meant creating little tented vignettes + umbrellas {with scalloped edges of course!} was vital. Add on handheld rattan fans from the lowcountry, soft seating, marketbulbs, tomato sandwiches, ice cold signature cocktails and a jazz trio to make for the perfect evening.
