The School of Styling – Raleigh, NC

In August, I had the pleasure of being a speaker and teacher at the School of Styling in Raleigh, North Carolina. Kaitlin Holland started this workshop, to  provide a learning environment for women who have a deep desire to create beauty - whether it's as an Interior Designer, Photographer, Wedding Planner, Florist, Blogger, Graphic Designer or Shop Owner . She brought in some super stars to teach what they knew best, I was beyond honored {and a bit intimidated} to speak alongside these smart, creative and insanely talented business women! The teachers for the first School of Styling were...

Caitlin Flemming -an Interior Designer from San Francisco, who spoke on the fundamentals of styling and design.

Natalie Bowen -a Florist from San Francisco, who spoke on identifying your strengths and how to delegate the rest.

Danielle Moss and Alaina Kaczmarsk from the blog, The Every GirlDanielle spoke on blogging and branding and being consistent at both. While Alaina focused on prop styling.

Jessica Rourke - I focused on the the process of Planning & Styling a Wedding

Our days were jammed packed! We started off with a Welcome Dinner, in downtown Raleigh where it was so fun to just sit and enjoy meeting all the attendees and speakers. The next day, we jumped into a full day of teaching from all of the speakers, lunch on the porch and breakout sessions that focused on Dressing for your Brand by Hillary Rushford of Dean Street Society {she is adorable, if you don't know of her then you are missing out!}, Calligraphy by All She Wrote Notes and Personal Finances for the Left Brain Creative {brilliant!} by Melissa Lennox.followed by another amazing dinner.
